CCTV247®.com.au Warranty & Returns Procedure

At CCTV247®.com.au we endeavour to provide easy and sensible resolution to Warranty and Returns.

CCTV247®.com.au  strives to achieve all warranty and returns to be processed quickly. Typically, if all procedures are followed correctly, turn around will be actioned promptly (subject to stock availability).

A Return Authorisation (RA) number must be obtained before returning goods together with a copy of the original invoice to CCTV247®.com.au  either for warranty claims or returns for credit.

Proper packaging must be used for all goods returned, as any warranty will be void if goods are damaged during transit, and damaged goods will not be accepted for credit or warranty.

To obtain RA number, please download Return Autorisation Form (RA) from our Downloads Page and email to info@cctv247.com.au or Fax to 1300 291 900.

A restocking fee of 10% of the invoiced value is applicable to goods returned for credit within 7 days of the dispatch date. These goods must be in original condition and packaging. We will not accept goods returned for credit that arrive later than 7 days from the invoice date.

A restocking fee of 30% of the invoiced value is applicable to goods returned for credit within 8-30 days of the dispatch date, which are not in its original packaging. These goods must be in original condition and non-original packaging will be accepted.

All warranty or returns are on strictly "return to base" policy.  Once (RA) number is issued, customers are required to send warranty/return item(s) to our Melbourne Repair/Returns Centre (details will be provided with RA Number). All freight charges related to RA is the responsiblity of the customer.

All goods returned without a valid RA Number will be rejected and returned to sender.

All RA Numbers are valid for 7 days from date of issue.

In addition to any warranty provided by the manufacture or importer of the Goods, CCTV247®.com.au warrants that the goods will be free from defects for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date that the goods are delivered to the customer.  A warranty claim may not be accepted by CCTV247®.com.au if the damage or defect has arisen as a result of : misuse, abuse, or use contrary to instructions; negligence or want of care, including the customer's failure to adequately safeguard the goods; an act or omission by any person who is not the customer, including any loss or damage occassioned while the goods are in the custody, control or possession of any person who is not the customer; transport or transit; alteration or modification of the goods by the customer or a third party.  If CCTV247®.com.au  accepts a warranty claim, CCTV247®.com.au  may repair the goods or replace the goods at the discretion of  CCTV247®.com.au 

CCTV247®.com.au will provide refunds on returns excluding freight and restocking charges.
